About Flumify
Flumify is an English-language publication dedicated to the science of chemistry — written for readers who already know the basics and want to go further. We cover organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and theoretical chemistry with a focus on mechanisms, advanced methodology, and the underlying physical principles. This is not a textbook summary or a high-school review. Every article assumes a working knowledge of fundamental concepts and pushes toward the frontier of current understanding.

Factual accuracy and peer-level review
All content on Flumify is written or reviewed by individuals with graduate-level training in chemistry. We verify every claim against primary literature, standard reference works (e.g., March’s Advanced Organic Chemistry, Cotton & Wilkinson, Atkins’ Physical Chemistry), and reputable databases (Reaxys, SciFinder, NIST). When we cite a specific value, mechanism, or experimental condition, we confirm it from at least two independent sources.
Updates and corrections
Chemistry evolves. When new evidence, improved syntheses, or revised mechanisms are published, we update our articles accordingly. Each piece carries a “last reviewed” date, and the site as a whole is refreshed continuously. If you spot an error or an omission, we encourage you to contact us — we issue corrections promptly and transparently.
Transparency
Flumify is an independent publication. We do not accept sponsored posts, paid placements, or promotional content that compromises editorial independence. Any mention of commercial reagents, instruments, or software is based solely on scientific relevance and not on financial arrangements. Our only revenue is from non-intrusive advertising (AdSense) and, in the future, potentially reader-supported contributions — always clearly disclosed.
Our Mission
We believe that advanced chemistry deserves a dedicated online space that treats readers as professionals. Too much of the web is either oversimplified or locked behind paywalls. Flumify aims to fill that gap: free to read, rigorously accurate, and written for people who think in orbitals, rate laws, and retrosynthetic analysis.
